Paris the Unforgettable

Paris is a beautiful city in the country of France, it is well known all around the world as the city of love. In this blog we will talk about what we observed in our trip to Paris.

People:
The people over there speak French. They really treat tourism, well some people are okay, but other persons maybe through all the year they se many tourists and they got really annoyed and just see you weird or treat you weird. Also we saw that people are really disgusting talking about how dirty they are, you can see trash anywhere and people doing poop in the streets stuff like that.

City:
The city is beautiful, the buildings are amazing they have a similar architecture that makes the city even more beautiful. It has a metro which makes is very interesting it is amazing how they transport, not to mention it is very fast. Paris has great historic places such as the Eiffel Tower, Versalles palace, Notre Dame, Mont-Martre and many more. It also has very interesting museums like the Louvre, the Musee du Orssay and more.

Places Visited
The places that we visited in Paris were:
Versalles Palace
Louvre Museum
Hard Rock Cafe
Champs Elysees
L’Arc de Triomphe
Notre Dame Cathedral
Seine River
Mont-Martre

Restaurants and Food:
The food over there is interesting, it has very different condiments than those we use here in America.The first day we ate at Hard Rock, they gave us chicken with smashed potato. Next days we tried to buy things that where representing of Paris. So we decided to eat a baguette, also there where crepes in every corner, by the way they were delicious. In the hotel we would eat breakfast. It was a buffet and we would have a very wide variety. There was thin pancakes, waffles, bread, and our favorite, croissants. There was a variety of cheese that  was next to the salami. 

Anecdote:
We had to take the stairs to get at the top of the Eiffel Tower, they were many steps, but we made trough all of them. When we got to the top and looked down the people just looked tiny, like ants, there was a part in the Eiffel Tower that had cristal floor so you could look down and act like you were stepping all over the people, it was crazy, the view was amazing.

What are ICTs?

The term is generally accepted to mean all devices, networking components, applications and systems that combined allow people and organizations to interact in the digital world.

8 examples of ICTs?:

• Television: News in all over the world. 
• Radio: Music that is now on popular or news that all the drivers should know. 
• The landline and mobile phone: communicate something from person to person. 
• MP3 players: to download and record audio to hear them later.
• Memory cards: to store information of anything you want. 
• Portable digital versatile discs (DVD): Record and Hear information or mostly music. 
• Global positioning system (GPS): To see where you are and how you can get to a place. 
• Computers: you can search and find information of all over the world. 

3 Areas where people use them:

• House 
• School 
• Work 

Conclusion:

My conclusion is that ICTs are very helpful and useful because they have helped to communicate better with people that are apart of in another country. Also for information that can help others in the rest of the world.

How are they used in education?

• To assist students to learn more effectively by providing teachers with access to a wide range of new pedagogy.
• Enable teachers to do administrative tasks more efficiently. 
• Enables students to have more informed and more profitable access to teachers' knowledge and skills.

How are they used in business?

• Reducing costs
• Increasing efficiency
• Improving decision-making and increasing your competitiveness in the marketplace.

How are they used in medicine?

• A physician in a remote rural hospital is unable to diagnose a patient with a complex symptoms. But, using his MEDLINE search training he is able to diagnose and successfully treat the patient for a tropical disease the patient picked up while traveling abroad.
• A physician looks and finds that other physicians are not using the post-surgical antibiotic that is shown to be most effective. And tells another way to improve patient recovery.
• A neonatologist, who transmits CT-scans and other medical images by e-mail to his network of personal contacts around the world to help in diagnosing and treating premature newborns, estimates that teleconsultations have helped him to save numerous lives during the past year.

How does it help construction?

• Quantify the scope for improvement of construction efficiency.
• Examine current construction practice and assess the potential for its improvement by way of innovation.
• Identify specific actions and good practice that would help achieve more efficient construction.

Conclusion:
I think that the ICT is very helpful that it can benefit a lot of things and stuff like medicine, construction, education and lots more all over the world, I is also our new way of Communication because we don’t use cards anymore.

It is a connected network system that transmits data in various types of media.

What is a Browser?
Software program that allows a user to locate the access and that can display web pages. It is used to display and access website on the internet.

What is a search engine?
Service that lets internet users to search for things by using a keyboard and insert key phrases into a search engine.

Provides IT services provisioning an application database server from the cloud replacing house storage and accessing software and application directly from a web browser.

'Friends' is a television series that lasts 10 seasons. It is a group of friends who live in New York. With their great adventures every day. The main characters are called Rachel and Ross who were in love when they where young and now that they have meet again maybe something can happen.

I like it because it is verry funny and it always leaves you asking what will happen next?

Is the biggest network of online contnent that is composed on HTML and accessed via HTTP.

Information and Communication Technologies 

Information and communications technology is all the technology used to manage telecommunications, broadcast media, intelligent building management systems, audiovisual processing and transmission systems, and network-based control and monitoring functions. To let people and organizations to communicate in the digital work. 

In Wich areas do people use information and Communication Technologies?                People usually use these in the school, House or Work. 

I use Information Communication Tecnologies in the phone to communicate with my friends and family. I also use them in the television to see what is happening in other parts of the world. And by using the iPad I can search for news that happen around me in the city that I live or the country that I live.
